This Purple Garnet has not been treated nor heated. It weighs 1.81 Cts. This Garnet is Oval shaped and the size is 7mm x 5mm (Length x Width) . It has a hardness of 6.5-7.5 on the scale. The luster is very good and it is transparent.This stone was mined in Tanzania and then brought over to Thailand for Polishing and Cutting. The speciality of this stone is that there is luster all around the stone and it really shines when you put it in a pair of earrings.
