This is one of my most outstanding creations.
I have used an African clay passport mask to make this necklace. The necklace itself repeats the colors of the mask, blue, white and brown
For the necklace I have used lapis lazuli beads, African amber (phenolic resin) beads,  silver metal beads and blue bakelite heishi from the African Trade.

Tikar (also Tikari, Tikali, Tingkala, Ndop, Ndome) are a Wesst African Tribe in central and western Cameroon.
Die Tikar (auch Tikari, Tikali, Tingkala, Ndop, Ndome) sind eine westafrikanische Ethnie in Zentral- und Westkamerun.
Insgesamt werden etwa 25.000 Menschen zu dieser Volksgruppe gezählt. Der Name Tikar bedeutet in etwa „Geht weg von diesem Ort“ und ist eine Sammelbezeichnung für mehrere in untereinander abgetrennten politischen Strukturen organisierte Stämme.
Sie sprechen als Muttersprache das Tikar, eine der tikaroiden Sprachen.

Please bear in mind that the majority of the beads and ethnic elements I use are OLD or ANTIQUE , even ANCIENT! The show wear and age. I usually mention any defaults in my descriptions but I can overlook a minuscule old chip or dent . As this has happened recently and resulted in a severe dispute with the buyer I want to point out again that I do not use NEW  material (except if stated) and that ethnic elements,  old jewelry parts, etc. might have very minor defaults NOT specially mentioned in the description. I do not accept this as a reason for  a return claiming that the item does not correspond to the description.
