This is an antique, Tuareg tribally made and used ring which was traditionally worn in the hair or on a necklace, also would be perfect for wearing on the finger. This antique ring was made by Tuareg metalsmiths of Niger from coin silver which they melted down and is set with a polished agate stone which was made in Idar-Oberstein, Germany and traded into Africa. This specimen is a ring size 7 1/2. Great antique, tribally worn condition.
