Bicron BC412 34" X 14" X 2-1/4"  Scintillator Plastic block
This  came to us in it's original factory heavy black plastic and silver foil outer covering
as 70" long blocks. We have cut it into an approximately 34" long piece
(actual length of the block shown in these pictures is about 18";  we will supply a 34" long piece in this auction)
We have removed this covering to photograph this
scintillator plastic
The two 34" x 14" flat faces and two 34" x 2-1/4" edges are clear, smooth, and polished just as they came from the manufacturer, the two other 14" x 2-1/4" edges have marks from being saw cut as shown.
You the purchaser have the option to sand, finish, and polish these two sawn edges if you care to.
Sold for hobbyists and experimenters to do their thing.
We can supply this in BC-412 and/or BC-408 grade
We can also supply the BC-412 grade in 14" wide by 1-1/2" thickness instead of 2-1/4" thickness

Uses/Applications
BC-408: General purpose, Time-of-Flight (TOF) counters, large area, portals, <100keV X-rays, alphas, betas, charged particles, cosmic rays, muons, protons and neutrons.
BC-412: Large area and long strips, portal monitors, 100keV to 5MeV gamma rays, fast neutrons, charged particles, cosmic rays, muons, protons.
