Fritzi Scheff born in Vienna, Austria on August 30, 1879 and died April 8, 1954. She was an actress and vocalist. She first appeared in 1901 at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. Some of her performances included Matha, La Boheme, Die Meistersinger, Die Walkure, Fifi in Mlle. Modiste, The Prima Donna (1908), The Mikado, The Duchess, and The Love Wager.. This label is from the Schlegel archival file dated on the reverse of the label Jun 24 1957.
