Victoreen Model 1A "R" - 715 Survey meter - Refurbished - Bench Calibrated

For sale is a Victoreen Model 1A "R" - 715 Survey meter which is the factory revised version. I cleaned all the contacts, cleaned the zero switch, performed circuit checks then bench zeroed each setting. If I had to bet this would work fine if needed. The 715s are not a standard Geiger Counter but a meter to be used in extreme disaster, where the CDV-700 were hit with too much radiation. They are good to have in a kit and i would expect them to be used while people were hunkered down in a shelter awaiting the radiation to dissipate. 715s are also used by nuclear specialists seeking blasted nuclear material. They are used to find this type material and can also be used to help get out of hot zones.
